Back for Round Two: Flight Adventure Park Jacksonville, FL

Someone once said, “First impressions are lasting impressions.”

That. Is. Facts.

So here we are, back for round two at Flight Adventure Park in Jacksonville, FL. This time, my little and I are ditching our solo act. We arrived in a caravan of black Cadillacs with My Five Star Michelin Man in charge. From now on, you will never see one without the other. “X” marked his front row spot before opening my door and escorting me inside. Shocker. His is such a Gentleman. I must be honest; I am the mom that hates all the birthday parties and all the kiddie things so anytime someone else elects to round up the little demons for me then let it be known that I am there, with sparkly jingle bells on. Go ahead X, there is no shame in this mom’s game.

After meeting the GM Jennifer during my initial visit, I decided to pay her a visit to see if she could help me plan a party for fifty. Not only did she have the space on the date I requested, but she also offered ample staffing to make sure that X and I could sit in the corner with two glasses of chilled champs, an ice bucket for our bottle of Veuve and a spread of medium rare cheeseburgers. It is always my preference to avoid The Karens and their respective offspring. We three snickered over the thought of having a custom hat designed that read “Don’t Talk to Us.”  To go the extra mile, she recommended that I sport a black pair of Jacky O shades. She assured me that The Karens will ABSOLUTLEY be too afraid to chat me up. Ha. Not only is Jenn hospitable, but she’s also funny AF. Ohhhh and soooo beautiful. You should see those cat eyes of hers. I know a few Karens that have dropped some serious dough to have that look recreated. Bravo Jenn, cheers to you!

After about fifteen minutes and a quick line of questioning, she had the entire party planned. This meaning she took care of all the food, activities, cake, etc. You know, all the good stuff that the little people like. I checked birthday party off my list and moved on with my life.

I seriously cannot wait to see my new friend in just a few short weeks when we host our little’s birthday party. I hope she will be hiding in the corner next to us, cracking jokes at The Karens and their horrendous choice of attire. Did Lily Pulitzer seriously just throw up all over the entire state of Florida? It would appear so. Ew.

Anyways, I’ll be sure to let you all know how the party goes. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be Tom Ford F'ing Fabulous.

Until then…
Cheers and Happy Hunting.
